In Brief: News from Biddulph, Audley and Goldenhill
BIDDULPH: An ambulance crew and rapid response vehicle were called to the scene of a two-car car in Congleton Road, Biddulph, shortly before 9.50am yesterday.
A woman, who is in her 60s and was travelling in one of the cars, suffered a suspected hand injury and was taken to the Haywood walk-in centre, Burslem, for an x-ray.
Another woman from the second car involved was given a medical check and then discharged.
AUDLEY: The National Blood Service is appealing for volunteers to attend blood donor sessions.
Sessions will take place on Monday, March 29 at St James Church Hall, in Church Street.
People can donate blood between 1pm and 3.30pm and 4.30pm and 7pm.

GOLDENHILL: An allegation of assaulting a police officer against Michael Bowman, aged 44, of Wilson Way, Goldenhill, on March 4 this year, will be tried by North Staffordshire magistrates on May 13.
He was given unconditional bail.
