Brek Shea scores but Stoke City lose friendly to Burnley
Stoke City's new signing Brek Shea made a positive impression as he scored for the Potters in a 2-1 defeat to Burnley today.
Former FC Dallas star Shea shone on the left wing in the behind-closed-doors friendly at the Britannia Stadium. Stoke's Republic of Ireland left back Marc Wilson came through 90 minutes with no problems as he steps up his fitness after breaking his leg last October.
Charlie Adam and Michael Owen were also among the strong Stoke side.

“No, evapottyknobsummerfoot, what would make us all rejoice is when you write your final word here, rather sooner than later.”

“OSullivan, you really do need help. Can you ever, and i do mean ever actually ask or answer a question without abuse ??. It is a very simple, yet very proper thing to ask why Pulis has not used Owen, yet your brain seems to have turned to mush, a side effect of constant excuse I suspect.”
