MIDDLESBROUGH pair Tuncay and Robert Huth are due for talks at the Britannia Stadium today ahead of a potentially dramatic day of business.

Tuncay will add enormous attacking flair to City's Premier League ambitions, while Huth is now favourite to fill the central defensive berth after Stoke tried and seemingly failed to land West Ham's James Collins.

Tuncay, who is now 27, has captained Turkey and played nearly 60 times for his country.

He has scored 17 times in 70 appearances for Boro since moving from Fenerbahce two years ago.

Huth, who can also play left back, came through the ranks at Chelsea after moving to England earlier in his career.

“Tell me it's true? We've bought the Berlin Wall and embellished it with Turkish Delight, both on the same day?
Go on the Boro website and realise TP has got a steal!”

“These should be two great signings. Despite Sky sports saying the deal is done I am not going to cheer just yet until the transfer is confirmed on Whydelilah and the official Stoke Web site. When that is done then I will be happy.

    Up the potters.”

“They must have both answered the two key questions correctly
    1. Are you a smashing lad ?
    2. Can you put in a good shift ?
Seriously though Tuncay looks class and not sure why he brought Huth in - cannot play Huth Shawcross and Ab Faye in same team unless Huth can play fullback - Tuncay should add quality to the midfield and if given the freedom of the park will weigh in with a few goals as well - well done TP and the team ! Reid will add some spice to the dresiing room as well - he dont mince his words”

    “In the bag apparently.

Great signings, well done Tony Pulis and the rest of the management team, and also well done to the fans. I get the feeling Tuncay was probably impressed on his trip to the Brit last season.

Question: will this finally please the whingers?”
