CREWE have signed Lancaster City striker Jordan Connerton after the 20-year-old impressive trial stint.

The youngster, who has scored 35 times for the UniBond Division One North outfit this term, has agreed a three-year deal at Gresty Road.

But Dario Gradi says Connerton will be loaned back to the non-League side for the rest of the season.

"He's different to what we've got. He's always looking to get into a gap somewhere. With full-time training it will be interesting to see where he can go," said the Crewe boss.
