A WOMAN who jumped from a bridge above the A50 after allegedly stabbing a man to death appeared in court today.

Murder accused Sabina Eriksson was further remanded in custody by a judge over the death of Stoke-on-Trent man Glen Hollinshead.

Eriksson, aged 40, a Swedish national of no fixed address, but formerly living in Mallow, County Cork in Ireland, denies murdering Mr Hollinshead.

The 54-year-old's body was found behind his house in Duke Street, Fenton, on May 20 last year.

Eriksson's trial has been fixed for September at Nottingham Crown Court.

In a hearing at Stafford Crown Court today, Judge Simon Tonking extended the custody time limit on Eriksson until the trial date.
