Breakfast club offers tips to firms hoping for profits boost in China
COMPANIES keen to find out more about the legal issues of doing business in China are invited to a free breakfast seminar next week.
The North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event, which takes place at its Festival Park headquarters next Monday from 8am to 10am.
The speakers will be Tom Carver and Le Rong, senior lawyers at law firm Wragge & Co's Guangzhou office.
They will cover the various aspects of having representation in China, the difference between the UK and Chinese approach to contracts, getting paid and repatriating profits and methods of intellectual property protection.
