THE MILLIONTH visitor has walked through the doors at Alton Towers Sea Life centre.

Kieron Lewis, aged eight, from Newcastle and his family will now be treated with a return pass to the Alton Towers resort.

Sharkbait Reef opened in March in the Mutiny Bay area of the theme park.

It was the thirtieth Sea Life centre to open worldwide.

Tony Barlow, curator of Sharkbait Reef said: "We are delighted that Sharkbait Reef by Sea Life is so popular and we would like to thank all of our visitors for helping us reach such a phenomenal number in just over six months."
