Mid Staffordshire trust chairman Professor John Caldwell said: “Lyn has led a major reorganisation over the past two years at the trust which has led to substantial improvements to the safety and care of our patients.
“Lyn is highly respected within the NHS and more widely in the community for her great service in, what we all recognise to be, one of the most challenging roles in British public life.”
