BLOOD PLEA: Nicole Drew.
Donor carer Nicole Drew, aged 49, from Meir Park, said: "We collect 470mls of blood from each donor, which is just under a pint.
"But across the country, we have to collect 10,000 units of blood per day.
"It is really important to give blood. It is used in potentially life-saving operations."
The next blood donor session at Alsager Civic Centre will be held on Wednesday, April 7.
