Blair doesn't know what pain really is
HOW dare Tony Blair talk about the "pain and anguish" he suffers as a consequence of his invasion of Iraq? If he wants to know what pain and anguish is, he should face the family of those who have lost sons, brothers, husbands and fiances.
The invasion of Iraq was totally illegal; an aggressive act against a country that offered no threat to us whatsoever. Blair lives in cowardly denial of his actions.
-

Through his lies, he caused not only the deaths of 179 British soldiers but tens of thousands of innocent men, women and children. On the day that the last of the US combat troops leave Iraq, the leader of the country said: "The situation is now worse than when Saddam was in power.'' These are not the words of some disgruntled stallholder but their own head of government!
If justice is to be served, both Blair and Bush should be in the Hague awaiting trial for war crimes. This, of course, will never happen, even though their guilt is not in doubt.
Tony Blair, pictured, thinks that by donating the proceeds of his memoirs (which he has the gall to say is an "extended love letter to the nation") to the Royal British Legion, he can pull the wool over our eyes. It's a display of his arrogance and further proof that his deceit knows no bounds.
While the soldiers who survived are left fighting for adequate compensation to help them cope, no doubt Mr Blair's eight mansions and £20 million fortune – earned mostly on the back of the Iraq war – will go a long way to soothe his particular "pain and anguish".
Let's hope that for the rest of his life, the faces of those who died for his lies haunt not his dreams but his nightmares!

“Craig told me would get me a copy of Tony Blair's book if I let him give me a good seeing to over his garden fence. The last time he did it, his knees gave way and the fence fell down.”

“The voice of reason.
You say that Blair was the best prime minister that this country has ever had.
Please don't tell me that you think that there is any comparison between that weasel and someone like Churchill, for instance!”

“@The Voice Of Reason
You say: "Tony Blair did the right thing for the majority of this country".
How did he? How has this country benefited from this war? The only effect that the war has had on this country is that hundreds of decent young men (and women) have been killed or maimed because Blair hadn't got the guts to tell Bush to do his own dirty work.
You are right, of course, that no-one is forced to join the army. However, I think that those that do should be able to expect that they won't be sent to their deaths by a moron.
The best Prime Minister Britain has ever had? He's nothing but a con man, look at the way that he "had it away on his toes" when he saw that his (and Labour's) popularity was waning, leaving Brown to be the fall guy.”

“Voice of reason what drugs are you on I want some.
The "man" was a consumate liar, and cost the lives of thousands of human beings.
He and the rest of his cronies should stand trial for war crimes, and be duly executed.
Perhaps then he will know what "pain and anguish" is.”
