A CHESHIRE garden centre is inviting families to a free birds of prey display.

Bridgemere Nursery & Garden World, near Nantwich, will be hosting a display by representatives from the Gentleshaw Wildlife Centre in Eccleshall, on Saturday, July 4 from 11am until 4pm.

Garden centre manager Gary Kemp said: "We are delighted to welcome representatives from Gentleshaw to the garden centre.

"Visitors will be able to get up close to some fascinating birds of prey and learn about their habitat, and why they were rescued by the centre.

"There will be several different owls on show, including a Bengal Eagle Owl. There will also be the chance to see a magnificent Red Tail Buzzard."
