A WILDLIFE expert will be giving a talk on garden birds when he attends a garden centre next month.

The event featuring ornithologist David Tideswell, from Uttoxeter, takes place at Bridgemere Nursery and Garden World, near Nantwich, on Saturday, November 7.

General manager Gary Kemp said: "David is a regular at the garden centre and is always popular with customers, so we are delighted to welcome him back.

"David will be discussing the effects of seasonal changes on garden birds and the importance of providing them with food during the harsh winter months."

The talk starts at 11am and tickets cost £3.
