Biker death: Man in court

A 56-YEAR-OLD motorist was due in court today over the death of a motorbiker.

The man has been charged with causing the death of Denise Jones by careless driving.

The 55-year-old, of Heath Street, Chesterton, was on the back of husband Adrian's bike when it was involved in a collision with a car in Bradwell Lane, Bradwell, in June.

The case was being heard at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court.
