COMPANIES that have enjoyed success despite tough economic times will be celebrated at tonight's Sentinel Business Awards.

The ceremony will take place at the Best Western Moat House Hotel, on Festival Park.

The awards, presented in association with the North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NSCCI), recognise the successes of firms across the region.

NSCCI chief executive Bryan Carnes said: "Everyone looks forward to the Sentinel Business Awards because no matter what the economic climate, there are always some fantastic examples of success."

Converteam UK, Emma Bridgewater and Navman Wireless UK are among those in the frame for the Lloyds TSB Commercial Banking-sponsored Business of the Year Award.
