Asmir Begovic has been quoted in a Bosnian newspaper as saying he thinks he will be leaving Stoke City in the summer.
Speaking to the Bosnian newspaper Oslobodjenje, Begovic is reported as saying: "I believe that Stoke didn't buy (Jack) Butland to be a reserve, so I think I'm going to be sold in the summer."
Begovic, who is in Bosnia's squad for a friendly in Slovenia tomorrow evening, is also adamant no decision has been made on his future.

"I didn't say yes or no to anybody," he is quoted as saying. "I haven't signed anything - no contract, no pre-contract.
"I can't move to a smaller club and I also know that some top clubs are interested in me. They are also the only ones who can afford the fee.
"I read in the papers that I said no to City and yes to United, but the truth is I haven't decided on anything."

“It's my understanding that the Sorensen family is fully settled in the midlands and at this point is reluctant to go back. Thomas would probably also see the Superliga as quite a few steps down the ladder.
However he wants to leave, he has stated so repeatedly in the Danish press. Not out of spite for Pulis or because he's fed up with us, but simply because he wants to play regularly.
At the moment it's hard to see where he can go, as all pl teams have good keepers. However in the next transfer window, there might just be three promoted teams who'd be needing steady hands to guard them the first hyear. It has been done before, you know.
However, if he is willing to move, there could be quite a few foreign clubs who would take him. don't forget Bayern Munich wanted him a few years ago, and while that boat has sailed, it's a reminder of the high esteem he is held in overseas.”

“It puts Sorensen on a one way ticket to Denmark to play for a top club there, that will see him perform european games.”

“He's already at a top club ;)
Seriously though, wondering where all of this puts Sorenson...”

“That's not to say that he won't go to a real top club, in Europe. Both Spanish clubs could use him, and then there's PSG, not a top club, but a top spender.”

“Absolutely rubbish. City don't want him, and if Casillas becomes available to United, they won't want him neither.”

“Hopefully he will go for a decent amount, i would say 15million at the very least(got a feeling that is what he will go for) but maybe there could be a swap deal involving one of their younger players. Will be said to see him go but Butland does look an exciting prospect.”

“Quote."I read in the papers that I said no to City and yes to United, but the truth is I haven't decided on anything."
Unquote. The answer is there in that sentence. He is off, just a matter of who offers the most.
Very sad to see him go but thats the way it is nowadays, loyalty is not even in the agents criteria just money.
We have a great record of having top quality keepers at SCFC and Butland could well be another.
I imagine Gordon would have had a good look at at him and if he ca'nt spot potential then what chance have us mere mortals got.”

“Incredible! Contrary to a few on yesterday's thread, Jack Butland would never have signed for us as a bench warmer, having already turned down Chelsea. Non story.”
