I have not written a blog for some time as nothing realy interesting has happened to me, but I guess in my case that is good.

I am pretty ok at the moment apart from back ache.

I am still getting around without a wheelchair thank god, although it has been so cold I must admit I have not been out a lot.

I still have a good appetite and John says I am eating us out of house and home. But I have only put on a few pounds and at least I have not lost anymore weight.

I had an x-ray at Birmingham a couple of weeks ago on my spine and the consultant said everything was ok. I don't need to go again until April 17 so thats good.

I am still on the Nexavar and I wll be having a scan sometime in April so fingers crossed.

Bryan Baldwin (fellow sufferer) was on the TV this week with his consultant still trying to make this goverment change their policies about funding new treatments for people, in particular Nexavar.

I am still amazed at the response of the PCT who say the drug only gives patients an extra three months life. How can they get away with this misinterpritation  of the outcome from the trials on Nexavar and other drugs.

I think they have selective understanding to save money and that hey are truly denying people the chance of life. Shame on our Government .

Well I will calm down now for a bit althugh the subject of PCT funding always gets me wound up and always will I suppose! 

I went shopping this week with John and had a bit of retale therapy, something I have not done for a while and it felt good.

I have also started to do the weekly shop with John and it is good to meet people again. People I have not seen for a long time say I look well (but maybe they are just trying to cheer me up) well it doesn't matter if they are. As long as I feel ok that's all that matters.

My hair has grown back quite thick but I am still wearing a wig because I am too lazy to go to the hairdressers to have it styled and it keeps me warm, but I might go soon as the weather gets warmer and treat myself to a colour and style, it will be better then the two-tone shade it is now (brown and grey).
