Alps bodies 'in British car'
THREE people have been found shot dead in a British-registered people carrier in the French Alps while a young girl is fighting for her life in hospital, officials in France said last night.
The Foreign Office is urgently looking into the incident, which also left a fourth person, a male cyclist, dead from gunshot wounds.
The bodies of the three people, two women and a man, were due to remain in the BMW in a car park, overnight.
Forensic experts travelled from Paris to the scene on the outskirts of a forest near Lake Annecy in the Haute-Savoie region, which is popular with tourists.
