Aerial photographers support Dougie Mac
AERIAL photographs of two key fund-raising events will be sold to raise even more cash for a hospice.
Dresden-based Aerial Eyes, which captures images from up to 15 metres, will cover Douglas Macmillan Hospice's Santa Saunter and Carols And Mince Pies events at Trentham Gardens on Saturday and Sunday.
Managing director Mike Rawlins will donate the images to the Blurton charity to sell to generate funds.
He said: "We wanted to help a local charity with their fund-raising and promotion, and thought the hospice was a very worthwhile cause."
The hospice's senior fund-raising development manager, Zoe Hollingsworth, said: "We rely heavily on volunteers, and Mike is exactly the type of businessperson we like to work with. It's great for people like us to have that kind of support."
The Santa Saunter, on Saturday, is a sponsored walk around Trentham Lake.
The Carols And Mince Pies event takes place in the Italian Gardens the following day.
