Administrators to take charge of Stafford Hospital
CRISIS-HIT Stafford Hospital will remain open for the future – even though a team of administrators are poised to take charge.
The Contingency Planning Team appointed to examine the hospital's long term future says the Mid Staffordshire NHS Trust, which runs the hospital, cannot survive in its current form.

Scandal hit Stafford Hospital.
They have recommended a series of changes to be considered by a Trust Special Administrator, which if appointed by the Government, would take over running the hospital from the current board.
The administrator would put together a plan for the hospital's survival, which it would take to a public consultation. It is likely that many services will move to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.

“THe hospital needs outside experts to come in and sort it out. Those currently in charge are obviously not able to do so. Hence bringing in the administrators so they can see what can and what cannot be achieved.”

“Administrators to take charge of Stafford Hospital, I wonder if they can make a better job than the British Government, it was the British Government fault the hospital is in such a mess, can't blame the nurse staff for lack of funding which was the main problem for the hospital at the end of the end,
I would like to see the Administrators go into the Houses Parliament, and start chopping their jobs and make spending cuts, if I ever seen deadwood, it as to be trash in the Houses of Parliament”

“Snuggleteeth
Stafford wants bulldozering not dismantling.
Would you want an operation there that meant going under?
No, neither does anyone else (just in case you go under for good).....”
