Alex Wood scored twice and Dan Rooksby added a third before half-time.

Hanley Town are also well placed in third after Joel Stair grabbed two in a 3-0 success at Wolstanton United.

Aaran Lewis completed the scoring.

Highest scorers in the Premier Division were Keele University, who produced a second-half avalanche of goals at home to Stone Dominoes.

Keele were just one up at half-time, but finished with a magnificent seven thanks to strikes from Junior Rodriguez (2), Matt Hole, Densel Cooper, Michael Hewitt, Dan Brundrett and Peter Hill.

Two goals in three minutes put Redgate Clayton on the way to three points.

George Rigby's goal on 62 minutes was followed by another on 65 from Ryan Green, and although Paul Callear pulled one back for Ball Haye Green, it wasn't enough.

Richard Brough's equaliser earned a rare point for rock bottom Florence after Alsager had taken the lead through Tom Storer, while Eccleshall boosted their mid-table position with a 3-1 win at Stretton thanks to Danny Minshull, Adam Jones and Tom Brown.

Uttoxeter Town maintained their position at the top of Division One, but were pushed all the way by Congleton Athletic.

Lee Bagley scored twice and there were other goals for Tommy Smith and Gary Beardsley, though Athletic hit back through Wilson (2) and O'Brien.

Levi Bentley's hat-trick put second-placed MMU on their way to a 5-2 home win against Cheadle SMU.

Adam Denver and Stan Asomaning completed the rout.

Goals from Ben Sambrooks and Alex Wright were enough for Hanley Town Reserves against Foley, while Liam Shaw (2), Liam Jones-Mansuetto and Lee Hughes were the scorers as Wolstanton United Reserves raced to a 4-1 win at Bradeley Town.

There were plenty of goals in Division Two, where the one-sided nature of a clash between top and bottom shone through.

David White and Wayne Hinks each scored hat-tricks as Hall Heath trounced Tunstall Town 11-0.

Tom Madden was another celebrating a treble as he helped Biddulph Town Reserves to a comprehensive victory at home to Longton.

Kieron Wilson helped himself to a brace with Ryan Heath and Shaun Vincent also on target in an 8-2 scoreline.

Jack Bevan's second-half strike was just enough to give Hawkins Sports the verdict at FC Vibromax JCB, while Cheadle Town Reserves and Florence Reserves shared six goals between them.

Scott Harvey (2) and Nick Longdon were on the scoresheet for Cheadle, with Simon Barker, Dean Jackson and an own goal in reply.
