A34 reopens at Meaford
THE A34 has reopened in a southbound direction at Meaford.
The road was closed in both directions yesterday due to flooding, but freezing temperatures overnight led to the continued closure of the southbound carriageway this morning.

But after Staffordshire County Council teams worked to clear the road, a lane of the southbound carriageway reopened at around 11am.
