87-year-old man Harry Deville dies in hospital after A518 crash
AN 87-YEAR-OLD man has died in hospital following a three car crash near Uttoxeter.
Harry Deville, of Stowe-by-Chartley, died in Stafford Hospital yesterday, a week after the silver Vauxhall Astra he was driving was involved in a crash with a blue Isuzu Trooper and a blue Audi A3 on the A518.

His condition was not believed to have been life threatening at the time but had deteriorated on his admittance to hospital, a Staffordshire Police spokesman said.
The other drivers, a 57-year-old man from Uttoxeter, and a 53-year-old woman from Stafford, escaped uninjured.

Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to the crash, which happened on the A518 between Uttoxeter and Loxley on Wednesday, November 21.
Witnesses are asked to contact Sgt Ian Revans at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 580 of November 21.
