£20k debt is 'final straw' for Wedgwood casualty

ANOTHER firm has gone to the wall partly because it was owed money by Barlaston china maker Wedgwood.

Victoria Heating and Ventilation was owed more than £20,000 by Wedgwood.

Documents show Wedgwood owed North Staffordshire and South Cheshire firms more than £3 million when administrator Deloitte was called in.

Phil Brown, from Newcastle accountant Barringtons, said: "Wedgwood was probably the final straw for them."
