“Sorry RegenMan1, but the Sentinel's record in terms of providing a 'check' on the behaviour of the City Council is abysmal - too many people bessy mates in the local lodges I'm afraid!”

“They have cut the number of reporters and photographers at the Shropshire Star that the major news is out of date by the time it reaches the paper.”

“You all might like to criticise The Sentinel, but it is all we have, no Sentinel (or not enough journalists to do a proper job) means the likes of the council will have free reign in the city with no checks on their behaviour.
Think how bad they are now, think how bad it could be without a critical voice.
Just imagine – all your local news coming once a month in 'our city'.”
